Make these pretty gerbera daisies out of paper!
I made these paper blooms with a variety of papers in text weight (anything lighter than card stock) that I purchased at paper-papers.com. Some are metallic and others are an uncoated stock. The centers of each bloom are finished with
a glitter paper in either black or lime green which are two common colors for the gerbera centers. I have provided the pattern below for both a printable template and an SVG file for all of you who do have cutting machines.

    You Will Need

    • Text weight paper
    • Glitter Paper
    • Floral Tape
    • Scissors
    • Glue Gun
    • Floral Wire
    • Wire Cutters

? Cut four size 1, four size 2, two size 3 and one size 4 gerbera petal rounds out of your coloured paper. Youll also need to cut out one green flower back and one glitter center for each flower you make.

? Take your three largest rounds and fold each petal around the edge of your scissors to create a crease along each one.

? With the edge of your scissors carefully curl the edges of all the petals on the smaller rounds.

? Using a dab of glue in the middle, stick the each of the three larger rounds on top of one another making sure you rotate each one to vary the position of the petals.

? Starting with the largest remaining petal round, glue each one on top of one the other remembering to rotate each layer as you go. This will create depth and variety in the shape. Glue your glitter center to the middle of the daisy.

? Manipulate the center petals in towards the middle to give more texture and form to your daisy.

? Cover six lengths of 18 gage wire with floral tape leaving 1 inch at the top.

? Bend the 6 tips away from each other to form a spray.

? Trim the bare wire ends to inch.

? Wrap your green daisy base around the outside of your wire spray and glue into place.

? Use a generous amount of hot glue to stick your flower stem onto your daisy head.

       ALL THE BEST ENJOY
